Eight High Impact Ideas for Improvements in Nursing & Midwifery Care

January 27, 2010 by sushslibrary

A really interesting website is the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement. They say that they are there to “support the NHS to transform healthcare for patients and the public by rapidly developing and spreading new ways of working, new technology and world-class leadership”.

They recently called for nurses and midwives to share ideas for improvements. You can read these on the website. There are 600 submissions! Lots of ideas to think about.

In the end, however, a large group of experienced nurses and midwives whittled this down to just eight, and these are outlined in: Details of high impact actions announced at the CNO’s conference.
